The city of Spring is a census-designated place and an unincorporated community located about 20 miles north of Houston. Since the community is not incorporated, it does not have any official boundaries. Most part of the city is located in the Harris County though a small portion lies in the southern Montgomery County, Texas. The community is in the Central Standard Time zone. The cities nearby Spring are Hufsmith, Huffman, Humble, Klein, Kingwood, Panther Creek, Porter, The Woodlands and Tomball.
