Victoria is the county seat of Victoria County, Texas, United States. This city is well known as the “South Texas Crossroads” and is also one of the oldest cities in Texas. It is the cathedral city of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Victoria in Texas. Victoria is located 30 miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico and is within a two-hour drive of Corpus Christi, Houston, San Antonio and Austin.
